Predator Ridge Golf Resort is Proud to Host the 2008 Telus World skins
The return of the TELUS World Skins to Predator Ridge Golf Resort, the site of the 2000 Skins Game, marks the second time in the event's 16-year history that it will return to a golf course that has previously played host. Tickets for the 2000 Skins Game at Predator Ridge Golf Resort sold out in less than six hours, a record that stands to this day.
The event will take place Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17, 2008 and will feature the intimate, relaxed setting of the Skins Game format that allows players to engage with the cameras and the crowds as they compete against each other for pride and prize money at picturesque Predator Ridge Golf Resort. The players will be five of the top names in international golf, each player representing a different country. Mike Weir will be representing Canada, with Fred Couples representing the United States, Greg Norman representing Australia, Colin Montgomerie representing his native Scotland, and rising young star Camilo Villegas representing Colombia.
Gates open at 7:30 both days, with the Pro-Am teeing off at 8am. The actual Skins Game tee off is at 12:30 each day.
