Okanagan Rail Trail Closures - September 2019
Please note that due to closures on the Okanagan Rail Trail by the RDNO, our Rail Trail shuttle service will experience some temporary service interuptions.
September 3 - 15: Shuttle will operate on normal schedule (Tues-Sun 10am departure). Partial closures (one way, alternating, traffic and temporay closures/delays) may be encountered.
September 16 - 27: Shuttle will operate on weekends only
Okanagan Rail Trail Shuttle
Predator Ridge is your basecamp to the Okanagan Rail Trail giving you easy access to this amazing new bike trail with our new shuttle service.
The current shuttle service operates between Coldstream and Lake Country, a 27km stretch of the Rail Trail that runs directly alongside Kalamalka Lake with a gentle grade and trail surface. This stretch of the trail takes 2.5 hours to bike at a moderate pace. + Click here for more route information

What is the Okanagan Rail Trail?
The Okanagan Rail Trail is a 48.5km trail running on a discontinued rail corridor beginning in Coldstream and when complete, will end in Kelowna. The trail boasts 24 kms of lakefront, creeks and truly unique natural habitats with 43 cultural and recreational points of interest. The trail has a 1.3% maximum grade on its gravel surface, making it accessible to all skill levels.

Where are your drop-off and pick-up points?
The shuttle service currently operates from Coldstream to Lake Country. This service will expand as construction on the Okanagan Rail Trail finalizes and extends to Kelowna. The drop off location in Coldstream is on Kickwillie Loop Road. The pick-up location in Lake Country is on Woodsdale Road.
How old do you have to be?
Shuttle riders must be 18 years of age or must be accompanied by an adult.
How many people can be accommodated in a shuttle?
6 people and 6 bicycles per shuttle trip
Where to meet?
Shuttle service will begin and end at the Bike Shop, outside of the Tennis Bubble in Commons Park..
Do you offer Bike Rentals?
Bike rentals are available at the Predator Ridge Bike Shop between 9:00am - 5:30pm on Tuesday through Sunday (we will take special requests on Mondays). We have a fleet of Specialized Cruiser Bikes (with pedal assist options) perfect for the grade and terrain that the Okanagan Rail trail offers. We have children’s bikes available too!
