Fall is in the air as summer’s heat wave begins to subside. At Predator Ridge, we are gearing up for a busy season of golf, bike rides and the obligatory Pumpkin Spice Latte.

It’s easy to stay active and social in the fall at Predator Ridge. We are blessed to enjoy beautiful weather in the Okanagan, and with over 1,200 acres of space, you know that we have the room to entertain. Not to mention, we’re centrally located to many of the Okanagan Valley’s most popular fall attractions.

Here are 10 things to do this fall at Predator Ridge.

Indulge in Great Food at Pallino’s

If you need a night out with friends or family, why not enjoy a taste of Italy right here in the Okanagan? Pallino’s Italian Bistro at Predator Ridge offers a menu of delectable thin crust pizzas, baked pastas and fresh sandwiches that varies each season. All ingredients are locally and responsibly sourced, and they taste amazing!

Relax and Appreciate Your Surroundings

Fall in the Okanagan is crisp and comfortable, meaning you can still throw on a cozy sweater and enjoy the great outdoors. We recommend kicking back in a lounge chair with a good book, listening to the birds overhead or venturing out on a hike on the over 35 kilometers of well-maintained trails at Predator Ridge.

Experience Fall Golf

The golf season isn’t over yet! Fall is a great time to get a round in, with cooler weather in the forecast but still plenty of sunshine on the way. Golftoberfest starts October 1st and runs through to our last day of public play, October 12th at our lowest rates of the season. Let’s end the season with your best round yet at either of our spectacular courses.

Cruise the Rail Trail

We absolutely love exploring the Okanagan Rail Trail in the fall, and the best way to do it is on a cruiser bike. No bike? No problem. Predator Ridge offers a variety of bike rentals, including cruiser bikes, mountain bikes, kids bikes and more. Once you have the gear, just book a ride with our Rail Trail shuttle and we will escort you and your bike down to the trail to enjoy your ride. The Okanagan Rail Trail spans 48.5 kilometers from Coldstream to Kelowna, and runs along 24 kilometers of lakefront.

Stretch It Out in Nature

For a more laid back fall activity, our outdoor yoga platforms are calling your name. Stretch and flow through a yoga class on one of our three outdoor yoga platforms, taking in the beautiful scenery all around you. There’s nothing quite like inhaling through Chaturanga as the changing leaves fall all around you.

Visit the Local Orchards

The Okanagan is home to a variety of orchards, many of which are closeby Predator Ridge. A favourite fall activity is venturing out to local orchards, such as Davison Orchards, to pick apples and pumpkins and revel in a tractor tour. Davison Orchards is just under 20 minutes from Predator Ridge, and there are many other orchards nearby.

Cycle Through the Scenic Sip

Just up the road from Predator Ridge is a collection of wineries in Lake Country called Scenic Sip Trail. This wine trail features award-winning wines and spectacular views, and the best part is that you can cycle through the trail at your own pace! The wineries include Gray Monk Estate Winery, Ex Nihilo, Arrowleaf, 50th Parallel Estate, Intrigue Wines, O’Rourke’s Peak Cellar, Blind Tiger Vineyards and Ancient Hill Estate Winery. A cycle through the Scenic Sip Trail is the perfect way to spend a fall day in the Okanagan, especially since it’s harvest time for the wineries!
