    50th Parallel Estate is truly one of Canada’s exemplary destination wineries. The 61-acre estate boasts panoramic lake views and rare granite soils. Top international wine-making talent have produced the winery’s world-renowned Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines!

    STOP #2: GRAY MONK WINERY

    Over 50 acres of lakeside views surround Gray Monk’s stately winery. Founded by the Heiss family, pioneers in the BC wine industry, back in 1972. They were the first to introduce Pinot Gris grapes to Canada. By walking through their doors you will be transported to the old world charm and surrounded by wines oldest traditions. Savour their wide selection of wine, food and views in the new Lookout Restaurant.

    STOP #3: EX NIHILO VINEYARDS

    Ex Nihilo’s steep, 10-acre property is a very special place. It’s not just the landscape’s splendour – it is the soil, the climate and the southwestern facing slope overlooking beautiful Okanagan Lake. Enjoy the tasting bar and art by acclaimed Okanagan artists in Gallery Creatio.

    Arrowleaf Cellars, a family-owned winery, crafts delicious award-winning wines from this grape-laden landscape. Winemaker, Manuel, completed his training in Switzerland and refined his craft in Australia before returning to BC with the goal of producing terroir-driven wines of exceptional quality.

    STOP #5: BLIND TIGER VINEYARDS

    This exciting new winery will take you back to the days of the speakeasy with their prohibition themed winery. This is the only fully organic winery in Lake Country and is a nice addition to the Scenic Sips wine route.

    Nestled near the Kelowna Airport, this boutique winery specializes in small lot wine. Providing an array of interesting wines all estate grown. European in style, this winery is worth the trip down the highway.

    STOP #7: INTRIGUE WINES

    Intrigue Wines, is a boutique award-winning winery that has been making wines since 2009, run by one of Gray Monk’s winemakers. Offering a gift shop and picnic area overlooking their vineyards, Intrigue is a small operation making only 1,400 cases in the 2011 vintage and 3,000 cases in 2012.

    STOP #8: O’ROURKE’S PEAK CELLARS

    One of the newest gems in the area, O’Rourke’s Peak Cellars will wow you with their bright and exciting wines. A circular tasting room is an architectural marvel. Estate- grown grapes reflect the care each vine is given and becomes poetry in the bottle. Make sure to sneak a bite in their award-winning bistro before you leave.
