8 Things You Can Enjoy Living In The Predator Ridge Community
Breathtaking views of the Okanagan Valley, world-renowned wine, and two restaurants with a focus on delivering fresh locally grown food to your table are just the tip of the iceberg when you’re a resident at Predator Ridge, a 1,200-acre community in the pines of the Okanagan.
Also, the days of needing to pack up the car and hit the road to find an activity are gone because the whole family can enjoy what’s available in this tight-knit community. At Predator Ridge, that car ride turns into a short walk with dozens of amenities to enjoy whether you like to relax or stay active.
Here is a list of 8 enjoyable things you shouldn’t miss when visiting Predator Ridge.
GOLF
Let’s start with the gorgeous golf courses. People travel from all across Canada, and quite frankly the world, to lay their golf shoes on two of the most beautiful courses in the area. With serene views of the valley, both the Predator and Ridge courses offer a challenging and exhilarating gameplay experience.

Haven’t been out on the links in a while? Predator Ridge has you covered with a state-of-the-art practice facility which includes grass tees along with target greens, a 20,000 square foot putting green, and authentic fairways that will prepare you to take on both resort courses.
Just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills? The resort offers lessons and clinics from their staff of highly accomplished pro golfers led by Brodie Carle, who recently was awarded with the “PGA BC Teacher of the Year” award.
Also during the summer, both award-winning courses offer unlimited same-day play. This is a great way to pack in the golf for half the cost, another terrific perk of living in Predator Ridge.
BIKING
If you need a little more action in your day, then you’d be a fool not to take advantage of the 19 kilometers of bike trails and natural beauty offered by the community. Some of these trails offer some of the best vistas in the Okanagan with some breathtaking views overlooking Lake Okanagan. Predator Ridge offers bike rentals, guided rides, and clinics for residents & guests.
TENNIS
For those looking to dust off the ol’ tennis racquet, Predator Ridge’s Commons Racquet Club facilities include 4 tennis courts (2 of which are covered for year round play) to help boost your game. As with all activities offered at the community, there are instructors on staff who offer lessons to players of all skill levels.
PICKLEBALL
Pickleball is sweeping the nation. Commons Racquet Club offers 4 pickleball courts (located inside the Bubble during winter months). Become a member to receive exclusive access to workshops and leagues or take advantage of drop-in slots throughout the week. The club also offers rental paddles to visitors and guests.
HIKING
Remember those gorgeous biking trails we just talked about? Well there’s room on those paths for more than just one mode of transportation as the trails are great for an afternoon hike. Whether you want to get a good sweat in by running or walking, the natural gravel trails certainly do the trick. There are over 35 kilometers of hiking and multi-use trails that you will definitely get busy with.
CYCLING
If you’re looking for a smooth ride with the reward of Okanagan Valley wine waiting for you at the finish line, then take a cycling trip through Lake Country, a short 10-minute drive from the community. Lake Country is home to several top-rated VQA wineries featuring a host of breathtaking views.
SNOWSHOEING
Of course, let’s not forget, this is British Columbia. Golf, cycling, and biking are nice, but what happens when the snow falls? Well, the snowshoeing season of course! Predator Ridge 1,200 acres offer a multitude of snowshoeing trails. Stop by the Fitness Centre to pick up a snowshoeing map or grab a set of rentals.
FITNESS CLASSES
For a more traditional way to stay in shape, check out the over 20 fitness classes offered for the community every week. From spin to Pilates to yoga, you can be sure you’ll get the most out of your workout and your body. Most sessions run one hour in length.
Along with these 8 activities, Predator Ridge offers a pool area with a 25m lap pool, hot tub, recreational area, and resort guests also have access to 3 outdoor pools (open from May – October). And during the summer, be sure to check out Bocce Nights every Monday, free for Predator Ridge residents and members.
With a focus on fitness and health, Predator Ridge puts your quality of life first while being surrounded by the natural beauty of the Okanagan Valley.
