Meet Our Landscape Manager, Breanne Tripp
One thing you may not know and that we’re most proud of is how many team members we have who have been here for 10 years+. Through our 30th anniversary celebrations, we will showcase and introduce you to a new team member (or two) each week who is in our decade club.
This week’s feature is Breanne Tripp, our Landscape Manager. Breanne joined the Predator Ridge team in 2010. Breanne oversees the landscaping for all 800 homes at Predator Ridge, as well as the resort landscaping. If you’ve noticed how our resort transforms (seemingly overnight) for each new season – than you’ve seen Breanne’s (and team) hard work!
Favourite Predator Ridge Memory?
I would have to say the 25th Anniversary weekend – the Rodeo at Lone Pine Ranch and Tom Cochrane Concert on the Range is one of my favorite memories. This event brought Homeowners & their families as well as Staff & their families all together as one. It was truly amazing to see and be a part of all the laughter and dancing and memories shared by everyone.
Honestly, who would have thought #TeamPred could pull off a Rodeo!
What’s your favourite part of working at Predator Ridge?
The community atmosphere. The relationships built between the staff and the residents is truly incredible. Our last year together at Predator Ridge speaks volumes. This was an extremely uncertain time for us all, but as each door closed, we got to witness something so incredible! Everyone worked together. From picking up groceries for your neighbours while they were in quarantine, to staff working day and night to find ways to keep as many services open to residents during some of the toughest restrictions, to the residents encouraging each other to continue to order and support Predator Ridge’s businesses just to protect employees jobs.
Also this is an absolutely beautiful property from the views, to the golf course, to the wildlife; it’s a pretty nice “office” to have. I feel very lucky to be a part of this community.
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of that you completed at Predator Ridge?
I am proud of so many aspects of my role and time at Predator Ridge. I have now been here for 11 years. I was promoted to management before I turned 30. My team and I get to create some pretty amazing displays from summer flowers to fall displays to making Predator Ridge magical through the Christmas season. Watching how much growth has happened for the landscape division over the last decade is almost scary, but it is incredible to be a part of. But most of all, I am so proud of my amazing team. I could not do this without their hard work.
Fun fact about you?
Every travel adventure whether locally or abroad, I always plan for a hike to a beautiful waterfall. Nature provides some pretty amazing landscapes, but waterfalls truly are one of my favorite things in this world.
And I feel many of you already know, dogs and puppies are my world. Nothing beats puppy snuggles!
