In the spirit of connection, and in a time where we need to isolate, we're delighted to bring you a new take on our popular summer events live on YOUR patio!

If you've been here in the summer, you've probably seen our weekly Music on the Patio series of live music. We're bringing the music to your patio with weekly virtual performances from some of our favourite local musicians. Tune in to our Facebook channel every Saturday night at 7:30pm to enjoy!

Week #8: Marv Machura

Marv Machura is a singer-songwriter and talented guitarist from Vernon. He plays in the contemporary tradition of artists like Neil Young, Ian Tyson, John Cougar, Tom Petty, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Diamond, John Denver and more. He has been performing steadily since his teens, releasing 4 CDs and publishing 20 songs in Nashville.

This week's feature musician is the one and only Andrew Allen!  If you don't know Andrew, he is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Vernon who has released 5 top 10 singles in Canada, and written and recorded many others, under the Sony label.  His acoustic pop/rock music is inspired by artists like Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson. Andrew is also well known in the songwriting community, and has written songs with some of today's biggest artists.

This week's feature musician is another one of our favourite Music on the Patio performers, Raquel Cole.  “A dynamite vocalist, songwriter and guitar slinger to boot!” is what American Songwriter Magazine called Raquel Cole in a recent interview.  She was named by The CBC and Radio Canada as “25 under 25 musicians everyone needs to know,” Her skill as a musician is one of the first things that her audience notices about her as she owns opening spots for artists like Carrie Underwood, Jonny Lang, The Brothers Osborne, Scotty McCreery as well as Josh Turner, who she toured extensively with over the past few years.

This week's feature musician is local Vernon loop pedalling, multi-instrumentalist with a 3 octave voice. Tanya's spicy stage presence is marked with exuberance and excitement, her playing and rhythm is consistently solid and her 3-octave voice sways from rich, deep and powerful, to soft, subtle and sensuous.


WEEK #4:  JON boS

Performance date: April 25, 2020

This week's feature musician is another one of our favourite Kelowna based entertainers, Jon Bos. Most of you will remember Jon from a variety of past events including our Parka Party.  He is a very talented musician and can play a huge repertoire of music from classic rock to blues, country, dancing favourites as well as mellow easy listening favourites.

If you haven't had the chance to see Andrew Johns perform, he is truly one of the most entertaining performers in the Okanagan. Andrew is often described as a combination of Victor Borge, Billy Joel and Elton John, as well as many other popular pianists and soloists. This performance is guaranteed to include lots of laughs and great music!

This week we're featuring one of our longest standing Music on the Patio artists, Gorden James. Gorden is an accomplished singer/song writer from Kelowna who's style is urban country, easy listening with a touch of the blues

We're kicking things off with one of our favourite Okanagan artists, Melissa Livingstone. Melissa is an award-winning Indie Canadian Country artist who was recently nominated for two awards at the BCCMAs; female artist and the Ray McAuley Horizon (rising star) award.
