Together, we can slow the spread of COVID-19 by making a conscious effort to keep a physical distance between each other.  Social distancing is proven to be one of the most effective ways to reduce the spread of illness during an outbreak.  With patience and cooperation, we can all do our part.

Luckily for us, living at Predator Ridge means we have a 1,200 acre backyard at our disposal, which is the perfect place to practice social distancing while enjoying spring in the beautiful outdoors.

Outdoor Lifestyle & Recreation Amenities

Here is a list of currently opened amenities and initiatives we are working on to get you outside with the right cautions, while abiding by social distancing guidelines and enjoying your backyard.

Golf Cart Trail Network

We have a team presently clearing the entire golf cart path network of snow & debris, so you can access them for walks & hikes.

Outdoor Tennis Courts

Our PRCLA and Commons Racquet Club outdoor courts are open for all residents who wish to get out to play, in an outdoor environment. Courts are open for play between persons of the same household only.  Please limit use and adhere to social distancing standards and respect your neighbours and community.

Yoga Platforms

  • The sails on the Lavender yoga platform in the Commonage neighbourhood are now up and we have several social distancing friendly seating areas setup.
  • The Chakra platform (off Ridge #11) is now open and we have several social distancing friendly seating areas setup.
  • As soon as weather permits (and the trail is cleared & safe), we will also be opening the Namaste platform.

Hiking Trails

Please avoid hiking on any Predator Ridge trail that is in muddy condition. We are trying to avoid tire and/or foot impressions on the trails, which will ensure that our trails are in great condition for the rest of the year. Please abide by signs at trailheads.

Please note that we still have quite a bit of snow on many of the lower level trails leading into Ellison Park. Please use all trails safely and ensure you have the right footwear on.

Please also note that all BC Parks have been closed, including both Kal and Ellison Parks.

Coming Soon: Self-Guided Activities

We're working on some some fun self-guided activities including trail guides, walking courses and more.  You will be encouraged during each activity to share your experience and post photos afterwards to share with your community!

March 23, 2020.  Effective today, all outdoor playgrounds are closed as recommended by the provincial and federal health officials.
