Our Amazing Moments Ahead campaign was a two-year strategy to tell the story of our rich 30-year history and what the future will look like here in the years ahead.
As we approach the halfway point of our development, it is an exciting time in our community’s lifecycle. We are at a point where demand has allowed us to take a step forward in advancing our planning and we can share the growth strategies being developed for our community.
We’re excited to share the conclusion of our Amazing Moments Ahead campaign with a showcase of the first phase of our Village Centre Expansion Plan.
Timing on our Village Centre Expansion project will be dictated by market conditions with an expectation of completion within the next 5-10 years.

We have reached an inflection point in our business where demand is allowing us to take a step forward in advancing our growth strategies for our community.
Over the last decade we have seen a significant increase in usage by our homeowners with 76% of our current residents declaring Predator Ridge as their primary residence.
We’ve expanded where needed to meet increased user demands, but now is a time for more aggressive steps.
Growth in any community is a positive as it brings additional services and amenities for all to enjoy. Since the original neighbourhood plan inception in 1996, our model has always involved concentrating higher density expansion in two commercially-zoned areas.
This model allows us to preserve the low-density development approach in our other neighbourhoods, which Predator Ridge is so well known for.
Village Areas At Predator Ridge
1. Primary Village: The existing area from the Clubhouse, Lodge buildings, parking lots all the way to the front entrance.
2. Secondary Future Village: Designed to complement the primary village. Located in the Meadows catchment between #7 and #9 holes on the Ridge course.
Guided By New Urbanist Principles
Our Village expansion plans are guided by new urbanist principles that look at the way towns and cities were developed in the old world, as well as look to some of the great resort communities in North America.
Key features in all great resort communities:
- Great architecture focused around beautiful civic spaces.
- Walkable environments.
- Mix of retail and dwelling units.
Sustainability
One of the focal points of all new development at Predator Ridge is sustainability.
Our Village Centre expansion will focus on the idea of a 15-minute neighbourhood tying in a walkability aspect to our plans.
Higher density building also allows us to explore other building methodologies including district heating & cooling systems and mass timber buildings to replace carbon intensive concrete.
Creating A Community
With our unique amenity model, we are committed to creating a culture that brings people together.
That’s why a large part of our Village Expansion plan includes expanded community areas to foster more engagement and connectivity throughout the village.
We are also putting a focus on expanded staging spaces to help the logistics around the village environment.
