Frequently Asked Questions

What Is The Digital Wallet Id Pass?

Through wallet app technology, Fobi will issue digital wallet ID passes which allow the pass holder to obtain their homeowner, member, or reciprocal guest privileges across Predator Ridge’s amenities, restaurants and retail outlets.

Why Are We Implementing Digital Wallet Identification Passes?

The new wallet ID pass replaces physical homeowner and member identification cards, and is an all-in-one digital credential used for verification of homeowner, member, and guest status. This new system provides a more secure, convenient, and eco-friendly way to access resort amenities and discounts. Most importantly, the new digital wallet ID passes are instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our exclusive discount and access program here at Predator Ridge, as we cater to a growing community of homeowners and members.

Pass holders will now safely and conveniently be able to use their smartphone to access exclusive privileges, discounts, and amenities, and connect to our new communication system; ensuring they receive timely information around important closures, notices and emergencies.

What Is The Timeline For Launching These Passes?

Effective immediately, digital wallet ID passes are active and ready to be downloaded by Homeowners, District Tenants, Golf and Commons Racquet Club members, and Reciprocal Guests. From now until December 31, 2024 physical cards will continue to be accepted as proof of identification. Effective January 1, 2025, your new digital wallet ID pass will be required across property.

How Do I Download My Digital Wallet Id Pass?

If you should be receiving a wallet ID pass, you will receive an email and/or text directly from Fobi with instructions to download your new digital wallet ID pass. Once you have registered, you will immediately be able to access your wallet ID pass and start using it to enjoy our onsite amenities.

How Can I Check My Discounts And Amenities Access For My Wallet Id Pass Type?

If you would like to confirm the discounts and amenities access associated with your specific card type, click the three dots at the top of your card, and then the information icon indicated by the ‘i’ for ‘Pass Details’. This will show you the full details, benefits, and restrictions for your digital wallet ID pass.

Is A Digital Wallet Id Pass Secure?

Mobile wallets are extremely safe.  First of all, you have to unlock your phone, either with biometrics like a fingerprint or Face ID, or with a password, to even access the wallet. Second, because the data is encrypted and tokenized, it’s much safer than using a regular card with a magnetic strip. The wallets use NFC technology, which lessens the risk of your information being hacked over WiFi, as NFC typically has a range of just a few centimeters.

Will I Need To Show My Digital Wallet Id Pass Everytime I Want To Enter The Gym?

Yes, all users of the Fitness Centre will be required to scan in using their wallet ID pass at the Fitness Centre desk as of January 1, 2025.
