I Have Not Received An Email From Chronogolf
- You likely did not receive an email because you have a pre-existing account set up in Chronogolf which is tied to your email address.
- Chronogolf is a software that powers tee time bookings for over 1,700 golf courses. If you already had an account tied to your email, with any of their existing golf courses, we have leveraged that account.
What you need to do:
- Please visit Chronogolf.com and login using your existing username and password.
- If you don’t know your password, please use the “Forgot Password” link.
- If you aren’t sure what email was used to link your account, you can use the Club Member section link to retrigger the activation email.
- If you do not have an existing Chronogolf account, please check your junk mail for the email.
- If you have tried all of the above and still cannot access your account, please email us at: LightspeedFAQ@PredatorRidge.com to open a ticket. A member of our team will reach out to you and get your account setup.
- Once you are logged in, please follow the below steps under the “How to activate your account” section.
I did not receive an activation email, but my spouse did. What should I do?
- If you didn’t receive an email from Chronogolf, you might already have an account with your email address. Please try the above steps to access your account.
- IMPORTANT: Some Homeowners and Members, like spouses on Member accounts or owners within a strata, may not have received an email. For these situations, please first check that you do not have a pre-existing Chronogolf account. (see above steps)
- If you have tried all of the above and still cannot access your account, please fill out this form to request a new Lightspeed account. A member of our team will reach out to you if any further details are required. Please note that our response time may be longer than usual due to high request volumes, but we will get back to you as soon as possible.
How Do I Activate My Account?
- We need you to activate your account.
- If you received an email from Chronogolf, please click on the “Activate” link in the large green button in the email.
- If you did not receive an email, but have gained access to your existing Chronogolf account, please log in to your account.
- We need you to confirm that your phone number is correct.
- We need you to enter a credit card to reinstate your Monthly Membership Fee + Charging privileges (max $500).
WHY DO I NEED TO ADD A CREDIT CARD?
To restore your charging privileges, all Members are required to add a credit card to their account. For Commons Racquet Club Members who pay their fees on a monthly basis, this credit card will also be used for processing their monthly charges. Upon uploading your credit card details, your charging privileges will be reinstated, allowing you to once again make charges to your account. Please note that charging privileges are exclusively available to Members at this time.
How Do I Add A Credit Card To My Account?
- Navigate through the Dashboard or My Account > Settings > Credit Card Access.
- Select Predator Ridge from the list.
3. Click the green “Add Card” button.
4. Add your credit card details and agree to providing Predator Ridge with access to your card and hit Save.
How do I book my court time?
Until further notice, court bookings for both tennis & pickleball courts are still to be made through our existing Member Website “ClubhouseOnline” system.
What about my Member Discount?
You will continue to receive your regular Member discounts, as usual. Over the coming months, we will be launching digital ID passes which will seamlessly tie your discount to your profile in Lightspeed. As such, it’s important to ensure your account is set up over the coming months.
I share an email with my spouse. What do I do?
Our new system requires all members to have a unique email address in our system. Your membership is linked to your email. This means that each spouse needs their own account.
Homeowners that share an email address, but have no membership associated with their account will have one account under the primary contact on the home account.
Some Homeowners and Members, like spouses on Member accounts or owners within a strata may need to request a new Lightspeed account. Please fill out this form to request a new Lightspeed account. A member of our team will reach out to you if any further details are required. Please note that our response time may be longer than usual due to high request volumes, but we will get back to you as soon as possible.
I do not golf. Why do I need a Chronogolf account?
Chronogolf is the Lightspeed module that will now manage all Homeowner services and Golf and Commons Racquet Club Memberships for Predator Ridge.
July 1 Payment Issue For Members
On June 18, Lightspeed was updated to allow for member charging across our entire resort, including our food and beverage outlets. As you may know, Lightspeed is a global company powering many golf clubs around the world. As such, during this update specific geographic requirements such as taxes, time zones, currencies etc. were considered. In our time zone, the system operates in PST and has an adjustment for PDT so that it works each year when we transition to daylight savings time. Unfortunately, the programming update did not include this 1-hour daylight savings adjustment in the new system code. This caused member dues transactions that typically post to members’ accounts on July 1 at 12:00AM to be incorrectly tagged with a date and time of June 30 11:00PM. Therefore, July 1 dues were posted to Member’s June statements. Then, on July 1 at 3:00AM, the regular processing took place to charge member’s credit cards, which picked up all transactions on each member’s statement and charged them to their credit card. The balance charged included the July 1 Member dues.
On July 2, Predator Ridge recognized the issue and Lightspeed began to review their software code. Upon detection of the cause noted above, the next step for both teams was to refund credit cards and ensure all accounts were updated accordingly. There are a number of steps included in this process, including but not limited to communicating all refunds to the processing company so that their fraud detection does not block the refunds, writing code to refund all credit cards, and more. By Friday July 5, the refunds will be transmitted to the processor and within 2 to 3 business days, with timing dependent on your specific bank, the credits will appear on your credit card statement.
