The full siren test is scheduled in November as wildfire season is respectfully over. We need people to occasionally hear the siren at full blast, so you know what it sounds like, and what you are listening for in the case of an actual emergency. Another full test will be run again in early spring. Additional notices and information will be shared prior to the testing dates.

CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY: RAIL TRAIL CONNECTION FROM KEKULI BAY TO BAILEY ROAD
Project construction has begun on the Rail Trail connection from Bailey Road. Residents are asked not to enter the construction site and surrounding area until the trail is complete and all fencing and signage are in place. Residents will be notified once the trail is open and available for public use.
STAY OUT OF ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION SITES
We’ve received a variety of reports from site superintendents at Predator Ridge that people are trespassing into active construction sites around our community. Please respect all signage and fencing which is there for your safety. If you would like a tour of any of our sites, please contact our real estate team and we would be happy to set something up for you. The safety of our residents, staff and guests is our top priority. Thank you for your cooperation and for respecting all signage.
BIRD WATCHING: VERNON OFFICIALLY ADDED TO THE BC BIRD TRAIL
Vernon is now recognized as an official outpost on the BC Bird Trail! Our region provides a habitat for a wide variety of avian species, and is now featured on the BC Bird Trail website. The website provides an itinerary which guides readers through Vernon’s unique pockets, allowing you to uncover hidden treasures. Learn more.
VERNON RECENTLY FEATURED ON CTV!
This past September, the destination of Vernon was featured on CTV Vancouver, with Adventure Awaits host Jami Savage. During the segment, those watching were encouraged to explore all the amazing outdoor adventures in Vernon, including Predator Ridge! You can watch the segment by clicking here.
PRIVATE STRATA GARBAGE AREAS
As a kind reminder, several stratas within our community operate their own private garbage facilities which are for exclusive use of residents in these stratas. Unlike the majority of residences at Predator Ridge, these stratas do not receive weekly garbage and recycling pickups from the City of Vernon and pay to operate their own systems. Additional collection requirements directly cost residences in these stratas extra fees.
The residents within these stratas would like to remind and request that all Predator Ridge residents be good neighbours and avoid dumping garbage, furniture and other materials at these private facilities. Additional measures are being added including locks on bins, signage and potentially installing security cameras.
SKATING RINK OPENING THIS WINTER!
More details will be released shortly – our outdoor skating rink will be opening for another season in early December. Our opening date will be weather dependant. Stay tuned as more details will be sent to you soon!
