IMPORTANT REMINDER
Have you turned your irrigation valve to the OFF position? Our Landscape team is now in the process of blowing out all irrigation systems at Predator Ridge. Most owners* are required to turn your irrigation valve off before we can properly winterize your system. Questions? Please email: irrigation@predatorridge.com.
At Predator Ridge, we have over 400 employees here to serve and delight you at every opportunity. At the end of every season, we take time to recognize those team members who made an extra effort and impact on a certain experience, or over time, to improve your quality of life here at Predator Ridge. We call these experiences ‘magic moments’.
For the first time ever, we are reaching out to you to help us celebrate and recognize those team members that may have gone the extra mile, and made an impact for you and to recognize them accordingly.
If you have a magic moment that you would like to tell us about, please email us at: predatorridge@predatorridge.com by Monday, October 9th, so that we can recognize our team members at the end of this season.
Thank you,
Rod Cochrane
General Manager

Be Bear Aware
As we enjoy the beginnings of fall, and are out enjoying our 1,300 acre backyard, we need to remember that we share our community with wild animals, including bear.
Here are some bear wise tips to avoid drawing them into our community:
– Limit bird feeders
– Safely store garbage and compost and do not put your bins out until the morning of collection day
More preventative tips are available at: WildsafeBC.com/Black-Bear
Thank You From Our Friends At The Vjh Foundation
On behalf of the Charity Classic Organizing Committee and the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation, we would like to thank the members of Predator Ridge, who, without your support the success of this event would not be possible.
Even with a last minute date change, the 14th annual Charity Classic golf tournament was a huge success and is our best year ever! We had an amazing fall day for our players who all came out in support of the hospital. And again, this could not have been possible without the support of the membership of Predator Ridge. Not only for the tee times but also for the many hours of volunteer time that was given as well.
Because of you, we are able to purchase an additional anesthetic machine to ensure that our operating rooms can run at full capacity in order to meet the needs of our community. Funds were raised for a green light laser resectoscope, vital signs machines and iPads for patient education just to name a few of the priority equipment needed throughout the hospital.
We sincerely thank you for supporting the VJH Foundation Charity Classic and excellence in healthcare in our community.

STAY OUT OF ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION SITES
We’ve received a variety of reports from site superintendents at Predator Ridge that people are trespassing into active construction sites around our community. Please respect all signage and fencing which is there for your safety. If you would like a tour of any of our sites, please contact our real estate team and we would be happy to set something up for you. The safety of our residents, staff and guests is our top priority. Thank you for your cooperation and for respecting all signage.
VERNON IS THE TRAIL CAPITAL OF BC
Greater Vernon is the official Trails Capital of BC! The Regional District North Okanagan, in partnership with the Ribbons of Green Trails Society, successfully named Greater Vernon as the official Trails Capital of BC through the Canadian Registrar of Trademarks. Trail-building efforts in Greater Vernon has been a decades-long process involving countless volunteers
and organizations. Visit the RDNO’s website for more details on this exciting new designation.
PRIVATE STRATA GARBAGE AREAS
As a kind reminder, several stratas within our community operate their own private garbage facilities which are for exclusive use of residents in these stratas. Unlike the majority of residences at Predator Ridge, these stratas do not receive weekly garbage and recycling pickups from the City of Vernon and pay to operate their own systems. Additional collection requirements directly cost residences in these stratas extra fees.
The residents within these stratas would like to remind and request that all Predator Ridge residents be good neighbours and avoid dumping garbage, furniture and other materials at these private facilities. Additional measures are being added including locks on bins, signage and potentially installing security cameras.
