HOTEL & CONDO RENTAL RESERVATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Predator Ridge Resort offers condo style hotel accommodations in the Lodge in compliance with Provincial and Federal laws pertaining to the rental of rooms to guests on a non-discriminatory basis. Your reservation is subject to following terms and conditions:
GUEST REGISTRATION: We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservation including first and last name, address, phone number, and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room must be registered (RSBC 1996] CHAPTER 205). Information regarding your license plate/car description is also gathered at check-in for security.
In this Act:
|(1)||A keeper of a hotel must provide and keep a suitable guest register for the registration of all persons provided with sleeping, housekeeping, camping or other accommodation at the hotel, and all those guests must be registered in it.|
|(2)||On the arrival of a guest the keeper must require the guest to enter in the register, or must enter for the guest, the following:|
|(a)||the name and home address of the guest and of all other persons in the guest's party;|
|(b)||the date of the arrival;|
|(c)||if the guest is travelling by motor vehicle:
(i) the trade name of the motor vehicle, and
(ii) the license number, and other identifying letters or characters appearing on the official number plate carried on it, including the name of the province, state or country in which the number plate was issued.
|(3)||On the departure of the guest, the keeper must enter the date of departure in the register.|
ILLNESS AND EPIDEMICS: Predator Ridge Resort reserves the right to refuse accommodations to a guest arriving with a contagious disease. In cases where sickness occurs during the stay, please notify the Front Desk staff. You may be asked for a series of questions and asked for a temperature check. In the case of serious sickness, you may be requested to receive appropriate health care from a nearby healthcare facility. During epidemics we are entitled to employ precautionary measures within our judgment or as required by local authorities. We may charge you a room cleaning fee as we deem appropriate under the circumstances.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, No Daily Housekeeping Services will be provided. All units will be stocked and in clean, inspected condition upon arrival. We’ve made significant investments into new in-room sanitization protocols. We are taking stringent precautions to ensure rooms are clean and sanitized for your protection. If you require linens for the sofabed in your room, please inform our team before your arrival. Payment may be required. Temporarily we have set up excess garbage and recycling stations in our laundry rooms within the Lodge. Please dispose and recycle your waste using these convenient stations.
**If you require additional essential items during your stay, items will be available upon request**
CONFIRMATION: Your reservation will be reviewed to make sure all information is complete, and that your reservation meets any applicable length of stay requirement. If there are any questions or issues, a member of our staff will be in contact with you.
TAX/SVC CHARGES/FEES: Please be aware that we are required to add 5% Federal Goods & Services Tax (GST), 8% Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and a 3% Municipal & Regional District Tax (additional hotel room tax) + 10% Resort Fee per room per night based upon the rate of accommodation.
FREE WiFi ACCESS: Access to WiFi is free for our registered guests. The hotel WiFi access code is subject to change without notice. WiFi signals are subject to change without notice depending on the room’s location, the status of our WiFi-equipment, and interference from other local wireless signals. Predator Ridge Resort assumes no liability for guest use.
ECOBASE FEES: We are proud to be ecobase certified, reducing our carbon footprint as well as reducing energy, water and waste. A $2 ecobase charge* will be added to each room night, making your stay completely carbon neutral and good for the planet. For more info visit ecobasecertified.com. *This fee may be removed upon request.
RATES: The rates shown in this confirmation may be a total rate, average of nightly rate, or a combination of packages and a flat nightly rate plus any tax and assessment fees. Please call for specific rate detail if you have any questions.
BOOKING/DEPOSITS: A credit card was required at time of booking to guarantee all reservations. A one night deposit is required at the time of booking. Remaining payment is processed on arrival.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: Check-in time begins at 4:00 p.m.* Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Due to new COVID protocols, late check outs are temporarily unavailable. (* During peak seasons there may be check-in delays up to 6:00pm)
EARLY CHECK-IN/PRE-REGISTRATION: Early check-in is offered based on availability. If you require a guaranteed check-in for arrival prior to 4 p.m. then pre-registration and payment may be required (subject to $50* early check-in fee). Please contact Front Desk staff directly to make reservations and complete a credit card authorization form prior to your arrival 1-888-578-6688. Due to COVID-19 restrictions this service may not be available.
UPON ARRIVAL: A valid credit card and photo identification are required at the time of check-in. Every reservation requires at least one person staying in the room to be 21 years of age or older. Full payment for your stay is processed on arrival plus an additional amount is authorized for charging to your room on a credit card at the time of check in.
CREDIT CARD REQUIRED: Guests must present a valid credit card upon check-in. Guest authorizes Predator Ridge Resort to charge the credit card for the cost of any repairs, excessive cleaning or other charges that may result from the guest's failure to comply with Predator Ridge Resort rental policies. If these charges exceed the guest's credit limit, guest will pay the difference immediately.
CANCELLATIONS: At this time, guests with existing individual reservations for any future arrival date, including pre-paid reservations, full changes or cancellations are permitted at no charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival, as long as the change or cancellation is made by September 30, 2020*. Please note that changes to an existing reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

|•||For reservations booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals, please contact the booking provider for information on their policies.|

|•||For group bookings we will work closely with you to manage any changes on a case by case basis. Our hotels are actively supporting customers to address the needs of each group, including moving event dates to another time. For questions on terms and conditions of group contracts please contact the hotel directly to discuss further.|
SPECIAL OFFERS & PROMOTIONS: Please note that if you have reserved your accommodations at one of our promotional campaigns at a discounted rate, be aware that these bookings are non-refundable and no changes can be made to the reservation. The value of the entire stay will be charged at time of booking.
PET POLICY: Pets are allowed only in units designated as "pet friendly." A pet fee is required of $35 per night up to a maximum of $200 per week. (Taxes apply). The guest is responsible for any damage caused by the pet. A maximum of one dog with a weight limit of 50lbs is allowed in select Lodge units. A maximum of one dog with a weight limit of 50lbs is allowed in select Peregrine cottages. A maximum of two dogs with a weight limit of 80lbs are allowed in select Falcon Point Villa units. Any dog with a history of aggressive or dangerous behavior is not allowed. Pets may not be left unattended in the unit. Guest will observe applicable leash laws for their pet. A pet fee will be added to all online reservations booked in "pet-friendly" Lodge units and Cottages.
USE OF PROPERTY: The property will be used only for vacation purposes. No landlord-tenant relationship is created during guest use of property. Guest will comply with all laws, rules and regulations. Guest is responsible for locking doors and securing the property. Guest will not allow anyone to damage or destroy the property during their stay. Guest will not cause excessive noise or disruption to the neighborhood, or create a nuisance. Only the registered guest and his/her authorized guests may use the property. Guest will not move furniture, artwork, or accessories and will not attach anything to walls during their stay. Guest will pay for any damage including necessary maintenance, repairs, additional housekeeping and cleaning charges.
OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum overnight occupancy for a unit is two persons per bedroom plus two additional persons, except for Studio Accommodation, where the limit is a maximum of 2 persons. Children under the age of 5 are not included when determining maximum occupancy. Occupancy limits will be strictly enforced. If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rent another guestroom for proper accommodations or vacate the hotel. Maximum room policies are for safety, insurance and fire hazard laws. Additional registered guests are allowed where occupancy limits are not compromised. A fee of $30* per person, per night will be charged at the time of arrival/or check out once room occupancy levels are confirmed. Violation of the maximum overnight occupancy is subject to a maximum of a $200 fine. Occupancy limits will be strictly enforced, and violations may result in immediate eviction from the unit and forfeiture of all rent and fees. Some Lodge units have occupancy limits that may be lower than what is allowed by the code.
REPORTING DAMAGE: Guest should examine the property upon arrival, and promptly report to the Predator Ridge Resort Front Desk any visible damage, inoperable appliances or other adverse conditions at the property. Guest is responsible for any damage discovered after departure.
PARKING RESTRICTIONS: Parking of vehicles on and along streets within the community is prohibited. Motor vehicles must be parked in allotted parking area not extend beyond. No vehicles shall be parked so as to inhibit passage of emergency vehicles or snowplows. Violators may be fined or towed. No RV or boat parking is allowed on property. PARKING AT OWN RISK: All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registration at check-in. Parking for registered guest(s) is free. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Predator Ridge Resort shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property. If a vehicle is left in the parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent of Predator Ridge Resort or an animal is left in the vehicle, we reserve the right to enter the vehicle and/or have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
EXCESSIVE NOISE AND UNRULY BEHAVIOUR: Guests must respect the peace and tranquility of our community. Guests will not disturb or interfere with any neighbor. Disorderly conduct or unruly behavior such as loud parties and gatherings at the property involving large amounts of alcohol are not permitted. If excessive noise or other unruly behaviour results in complaints by the neighbors or notification by police, guest will be required to vacate the property and will forfeit all rent and fees.
UNDERAGE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION: Predator Ridge Resort prohibits the consumption of alcohol by (and the provision of alcohol to) all persons under the age of 19 and reserves the right to evict any guests who are found to be in violation of this provision.
PREDATOR RIDGE RESORT STAFF ACCESS DURING STAY: Predator Ridge Resort staff may access the property during guest occupancy to make any necessary repairs; provide any guest-requested housekeeping services (subject to additional fees); to verify compliance with occupancy limits and other rental policies, and in case of an emergency as may be determined by Predator Ridge Resort.
OUTDOOR POOL & HOT TUB: Outdoor pools and hot tubs are open between mid-May and mid-October (dates vary based on weather). Guest assumes all risk for their use of any pool & hot tub that exist at the Lodge. Our outdoor pool & hot tub is available for registered guest only. Visitors are not permitted in the hot tub or pool area Adult supervision is required for all children under the age of 13. No life guard on duty. No dogs, food, drinks, or smoking is allowed in the Pool or Hot Tub area. Please refer to the posted rules for more use guidelines and rules-those guidelines and rules are considered a part of our Hotel Policy/House Rules. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, pools and hot tubs may be closed.
100% SMOKE-FREE: Smoking* is not permitted in any property managed by Predator Ridge Resort. Evidence of smoking at a property will result in additional cleaning fees. ($200) Guests are encouraged to notify Front Desk staff immediately if they smell cigarette, marijuana, or other objectionable odors. This policy is not intended to stop people from smoking, but to regulate where they smoke and how it affects others. A Designated Smoking Area is provided outside and away from the building. * This includes Cannabis.
CANNABIS POLICY: The Canadian Government legalized the use of marijuana on October 17th, 2018. As with alcohol, companies reserve the right to determine where cannabis can be consumed and certain laws come into effect to ensure that our guest experience is maximized and negative exposure is minimized.
Our Policy is as follows:
|•||Smoking marijuana is not permitted at Predator Ridge Resort, except:|
|• As per the city bylaw, you are permitted to smoke marijuana along city streets such as Predator Ridge Drive and within our park land throughout the community.|
|•||The climate in our high season is very conducive to forest fires. During these times, we will regularly call for a ban on all smoking at Predator Ridge Resort. We expect our guests to conform to this policy as the safety of our homeowners and our resort guests will be at risk otherwise.|
SPECIAL REQUESTS: We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor or room number, etc. upon your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.
LOST & FOUND POLICY: Predator Ridge Resort assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately 1-888-578-6688 and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
FOUND ITEMS: Predator Ridge Resort is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to five (5) days. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has found. Perishable items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries are discarded immediately.
RETURN: We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you by Postal Service. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage, plus a $15.00 handling fee. A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Predator Ridge Resort is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by the Canadian Postal Service.
UNCLAIMED ITEMS/NO CONTACT: Lost & Found items are held for five (5) days while we attempt to contact the guest. If guest contact information is incorrect or cell phone mailbox is full and we are unable to contact the guest during the five (5) day holding period, the unclaimed item(s) are thrown away, given to local organizations, or disposed of accordingly by Predator Ridge Resort. This releases us from any liabilities attached to items left on property at Predator Ridge Resort.
UPON DEPARTURE: Guest will leave the Lodge unit in the same condition as they found it upon arrival, less ordinary wear and tear. All keys will be returned to Predator Ridge Resort. Please drop your keys in the main lodge lobby at our contactless check-out station. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, we are not able to enter your room until 3 hours after departure. If items are left in the rooms, all guest personal items will be removed.
