Testimonials From Happy Couples Who Chose Predator Ridge As Their Okanagan Wedding Venue

My husband and I travelled from Saskatchewan to get married at Predator Ridge in August of 2018.

We decided on the location after I had been there to golf several times and the staff treated us so well when we were there. A big factor in our decision was the ease of the amenities and accommodations. It made it very easy for our guests to stay, spend time with us, and enjoy some of the local activities such as hiking, yoga, biking, and world-class golf.

We are very happy with our decision to get married at Predator Ridge and all of our guests can’t stop telling us how much they enjoyed their time at the resort.”

“I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at Predator Ridge for providing OUTSTANDING customer service and a SUPERLATIVE wedding venue.

Having your wedding day run without any hiccups is what most brides and grooms dream of. We had that and more thanks to booking our wedding with Predator Ridge. Words can’t come close to expressing how grateful and appreciative my husband and I are for everything the staff and venue provided not only for us, but all of our guests aged 3 – 87. Everyone had a fabulous day and stay.”

Scott and I got married October 7th, 2017 at Predator Ridge and our experience was exceptional. The planning process from start to finish was effortless and I know this isn’t always the case when it comes to organizing a wedding, especially when trying to plan from a distance as was the case for my husband and me. The staff was always quick to respond to my questions by email, they were extremely accommodating when we came to view the locations as well as with arranging the menu tasting around our travel schedules. Every detail was important and I never felt the sense that I was becoming a burden or an annoyance.

The vision for our day was that of a relaxed yet elevated semi-traditional wedding with a huge emphasis on celebration and fun. We knew from the start we wanted to get married somewhere beautiful, with a backdrop for wonderful photos and weather that would allow us to have our ceremony outside. We purposefully chose a long weekend so we could enjoy the extended time with friends and family and Scott also really wanted to golf with his groomsmen. Predator Ridge ticked all these boxes for us and then some. The food was also another important element for us. From the hors d’oeuvres to entrees to the midnight snack everything was so delicious and beautifully prepared. Our guests still rave to us about the quality of their meals and appetizers. There was no shortage of options when it came to the meal selections in the planning process and we know nobody left our wedding hungry.

We spent 4 days at Predator Ridge over the long weekend and from start to finish I have nothing but wonderful memories. Some highlights of the venue are the location to the airport as our family is spread across BC and we knew they would all be required to travel in some capacity. The beautiful back drop of being nestled in the mountains, on the lush golf course with a view of the lake is honestly something that can’t be beat. Despite having some stormy skies during our wedding photos the pictures are stunning because of these things. Another plus for our guests as well as our wedding party was having the option of the cabins or hotel style lodging and being pet friendly meant our sweet dog Bella could be part of our special weekend. We rented two cabins and we were each able to spend the night before and morning of the wedding in a comfortable casual space with our bridal parties. The rest of our guests had shared or separate accommodations in the hotel allowing everyone to visit and enjoy their weekend together. We also used one of the cabins to host our rehearsal dinner and it was perfect. Having access to golf carts as needed was another notable perk as it allowed us to explore the course for photos and provided easy transportation for our elderly guests. Through the entirety of the weekend every staff member we encountered at Predator Ridge was genuinely happy and helpful and added to the ease and joy of our experience.

Overall I would rate our experience as a 10/10, it is a day Scott and I wish we could relive over and over and will continue to look back on with nothing but the fondest of memories. I know Scott and I will be back over the years, whether to golf or just as an Okanagan getaway and we can’t thank the organization as a whole, enough for the effort that went in to our wedding weekend.

My husband Pete and I were married at Predator Ridge Resort on September 3rd, 2016 and we couldn’t have wished for a more picturesque day. The ceremony site had such a stunning panoramic backdrop, which made for incredible photos. The resort itself offers a vast array of scenic opportunities resulting in the convenience of not having to travel elsewhere for photos. Areas such as the Hockey Canada Cabin, or the luscious grass fields overlooking the courses and valley were a short golf cart ride away.

Our guests stayed at the resort and were overwhelmingly pleased with the experience provided. They enjoyed having a choice of the two restaurants, picking up small items from the Commonage Market, and of course activities such as yoga and bike riding being easily accessible.

We had a intimate dinner rehearsal at Range Lounge & Grill and also enjoyed a lovely ‪Sunday Brunch after the wedding. Everyone raved about the food and liked the fact it was all locally and responsibly sourced.

To break up the busy itinerary of a wedding weekend, we went golfing on each of the courses. The ‘Ridge’ and ‘Predator’ courses were spectacular as expected, and it was a pleasure to spend some time with friends and family. Wedding coordinators were so friendly and easy to work with and they each made the planning experience so fluent. They were always just a phone call or email away throughout the entire process. Our time spent at Predator Ridge was wonderful and our wedding day was everything we imagined it to be. We would highly recommend this venue to any future couples.

Predator Ridge has always been my family’s go-to for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. So when we got engaged my mother snuck us down to the ballroom and said we had to have the reception there. After our meeting the event planner, we were sold.

We got married October 21, 2017 in St. James Catholic Church and had our reception at Predator Ridge. Having been to their restaurant many times before, the food and service were big selling points for me. There were so many options for food and our event planner was so helpful helping us narrow it down to what we needed for our number of guests (the late night snacks were huge hit!)

The location was perfect and all of our out of town guests, even ones coming from Kelowna, stayed at the Lodge for the weekend.  It was so nice having everyone together at the same place and was a huge bonus.

The quality of service we received that whole weekend was absolutely outstanding. My bridesmaids and I also stayed the night before and got ready there in the morning.  The front desk team was so helpful with our hair and make up people coming and going and bringing up anything and everything we forgot.

I cannot recommend Predator Ridge enough. Having their event planner help guide us through all the decisions was so helpful and took so much stress off of the big day. We probably had one of the most stress free weddings I’ve ever been to and I credit a lot of that to the staff at Predator Ridge.

“Thanks to the Predator Ridge staff for going above and beyond the call of duty in helping us make our wedding day “extra” special. We are so appreciative of the exceptional service that we and our guests received all weekend.

Our family and friends having been raving about the great food (especially the appetizers), the wonderful setting/location, and the fantastic service they received from the hotel employees. There was not one complaint and the staff should be applauded for all their hard work and efforts.

We cannot express in words our gratitude towards Predator Ridge for all that you did for us. Not one thing was missed (which was also noted by the guests) and many of our guests mentioned that it was one of the best weddings they’ve been a part of.”

“I just wanted to send you a note to say thanks so much for all you did to make Laura and Kevin’s wedding so special. They both were just so pleased with how everything went. Your attention to all the small details was awesome, and the long day you put in on the wedding day was greatly appreciated. It was so reassuring to know that you were there making sure everything went as planned.

The comments from our guests were all very positive. They all loved the food, the decor of the room, the customer service, and the Lodge. Predator Ridge is really quite magical in the winter with all the snow and the lights. I understand now why Laura wanted a winter wedding.”
